Picarats 006 [VIDEO/ ACTION IN ROUTE 30]- fastfoward to night

Oct 08, 2010 15:45

[So, it's finally night time all around Johto. The Hoothoots are now awake and flying around, and the Sentrets were starting to tuck themselves in. However, it wasn't that late out though, so it was not unusual that a new video entry appeared over the network.

The feed started up and it shook around for a minute, just before it focused on a man ( Read more... )

It's kinda like th'British weather. [ except worse, but whatever. ]

... I wouldn't stay in this dump.

Haha, yes. I do guess that the weather is a bit like back home. Just with less thunder....

Ah, yes. Perhaps this world isn't suited to everyone's tastes.

My place's a bit like that, too. The Dutch call it their 'chilly old Frog-land' sometimes.

... Eh, it could be worse. But I have more important things to do than training some critters.

Is that so? Rather a strange thing to call it, but quite interesting. I would like to visit there one day.

Hm, it is probably more important to attend back to work. You did say you were an...administrative assistant, correct?

[Kisame is warm and dry--and not allowed out by the doctors actually--but he looks like he'd rather be out in the rain.

He actually spends a moment looking at his hands (both bandaged, one in splints) before answering.]

I'll return home.

Hm, yes. It seems like that is the more common answer among everyone.

I assume that your home is wonderful?

That depends on who you ask. This place is very... different.

((ooc: I have kendo so I'll reply in a couple hours. Goes for Naoto too!))

Very different indeed. Many things in this world is quite different from mine, especially the creatures...

(( OOC: Ah! Have fun at kendo! <3 ))

Of course I will; I do have a career at home.

[Odd for a teenager to have a career, but she's smiling]

I'm also curious about the puzzles.

[Oh! Colour the Professor interested. A teenager with a career? That's pretty neat.]

You have a career, ma'am? May I ask what it is, for curiosity's sake?

Ah, and wonderful! Is there any kind of puzzles you would prefer, so shall I just dish any one for you?

[Oh she's so pleased that somebody finally doesn't think she's a boy at first--she was starting to worry that she'd need to change more :/]

I am a detective like my parents before me. Naoto Shirogane, pleased to make your acquaintance.

I quite enjoy all kinds of puzzles, so whichever you pick will be excellent.

[Haha, well, this isn't the first time the Professor has spoken to Naoto. It was about two months ago since they spoken, so yeah...memory is a little fuzzy about the detective, but he remembers alright.]Ah, pleased to speak to you again, Miss Shirogane. You possibly not remember me without my top hat. It has been a while. I am Professor Hershel Layton. I believe it has been about...two months ( ... )

[A cold, wet, kind of miserable Luke Triton sits not too far away.]

It was storming like this too the last time I was on my way to Violet city.

[And now he's giving some thought to the Professor's question.]

Professor, what do you think's going to happen to our Pokemon if we do go home?

[action] profpuzzle October 8 2010, 21:23:39 UTC
Really? Well, that's rather strange...Perhaps the weather doesn't want us to arrive in Violet, for one reason or another.

[Not like the weather is controlled here. He's just shouting that out there, cause anything can happen in Johto. Anything.

And now the Professor is giving some thought to Luke's question.]

Hm...that's a good question, Luke...My guess is that they either follow with us, or they are released to the wild, but those are only guesses.

Mmm, well the whole trip there was pretty eventful. First storms, a-and then there was that flood, and after that everyone somehow either got locked in Sprout Tower or whisked to different places across Johto.

It'd be nice if they could come with us... [Not sure how the rest of London would react to a giant bear walking around. The answer is probably not well.]

Oh dear...it sounds like you have gone through quite the adventure while you were here. I hope that nothing terrible has happened to you.

[Well, he heard about the flood from Miss Mason, but locked in Sprout Tower, whisked away around Johto? Oh my...]

Yes, it would be wonderful if they come, though it would be rather hard to conceal them from the public eye.

It's kind of confusing, my prey is here so if I was back home I couldn't catch him, but by the same token, catching him here means little.

"Prey"? Are you speaking of a kind of animal, sir?

That is rather an odd prey. Are you some type of bounty hunter or police officer?
