Picarats 004 [ACCIDENTAL VIDEO/ACTION IN ROUTE 30]

[Somewhere on Route 30, there are sudden and loud sounds of twigs snapping and stones hitting one another. Panting could be heard and also loud, thunderous steps of someone in a panic. For those who decide to inspect the source of all this noise, they will happen to come across...the Professor?

[The Professor is completely surprised when his gear suddenly gives off that loud "ping!" sound of a message. He frantically rushes over to pick it up, nearly tripping on the way.]

Miss Mouse! A-Are you alright?! There's rubble everywhere and everyone is screaming and--

[The Professor places a hand to his forehead as to calm himself down, but it's not working. Everything around him was tearing apart and even he couldn't keep up with all this.]

[but in her 'world', there is darkness, the castle being taken over... No, no, that was an illusion, she's in a forest! They have to keep it together!]

It's... it's not real, Professor! None of this is real!

"Not real"? But how is that possible? The smell, all this rubble here, the screaming--!

[Luke hasn't his own nightmare adventures yet, but he does know fog is creepy and he shouldn't stray to far from the Professor.

Except he wasn't expecting the Professor to flip out like this.]

[Trying to get your attention but he doesn't know what to do to help. =<]

[All that the Professor sees far and wide in his area is destruction. Just rubble as far as the eye can see, and this Claire person is in one of them. He just can't calm down. This is the worst ever felt like. All these other people screaming around him and--

When a familiar face he knows comes around, the man gets up and runs on over. He seems so disorganized, so panic-filled.]

Luke?! Luke, are you alright?! Have you seen Flora? Head on over to Andrew's. I need to find Claire before--

[Those nightmares are really getting to his head. He can't even think properly right now. Everything is chaos around him.]

[Luke's pretty scared, but not because of what's going on in Layton's nightmare. It's because something's really upsetting the Professor and he doesn't know what to do.]

P-Professor, what's the matter?! Flora's back at home-

[Oh man, he's not sure what to do even. Try to reason? Run and get help? But leaving the Professor seems like an even worse idea-]

[A brief pause as his eyes focus on Layton's hat. Did he see...

[The Professor is still frantically looking around, and he almost seems twitchy as in he wanted to run off and continue digging. Claire had to be in one of those piles.

He places one of his dirt-covered hands over his eyes, almost on the verge of just wanting to scream. Of all times, of all places, and of all people he had to be breaking down in front of. Wasn't he supposed to be the role model and the one that always kept his emotions in check? The one that kept calm even in the most panicked situations? The gentleman? Then why couldn't he do that now? Why? Why why why?]

Luke, just listen to me. This area isn't safe. I don't know how much more of these buildings are going to collapse. S-She's already in one of them, so hurry off!
