I think the control won't be as bad as you think. There are going to be a lot of addons for it to allow for more traditional gaming. But the big thing is, that they are working with Ubisoft right now on a really great concept for a FPS game that's really going to change that genre of gaming.

So the controller is the issue so much for me. But the name is rediculious. I wrote them telling them how stupid it is and that they are jeopardizing sales with a name like that. I'd write them and tell them how stupid it is and that you won't buy the Revolution WeeWee because of the name.

Actually, if it just had a stupid name, but was a good system. I would still buy it. I dont care so much about the name.. its just fucking lame is all.

I am really disapointed in the Remote control. I have no interest in trying it even. What the fuck am I going to do with my other hand... and how could it ever be intuitive?

you cant play a good game with only one hand. Unless your masterbating... and even THATS better with 2 hands.

well it's still two handed. there's an analog stick that attaches to it that will come with the system. it's supposed to be make playing games more interactive. there's a great article on the Ubisoft game that I mentioned in this month's GameInformer. It's really interesting in how they are using the controller to it's fullest capabilities in regards to atleast making a really unique FPS.

For me, even if the controller is weird. There are certain games that I feel so strong about playing that I'm going to get the system that is going to carry those games. Zelda is one of them. I think it doesn't hurt to also wait and see how the system does in it's first year. They always do a lot of changes and streamlinning in the first year of a console's life. So it could be, that eventually the will produce a more traditional type of controler to make better sales. Plus new systems in their first year are always buggier than later generations. I've always waited a while before getting my systems. So you never know. Things could

I know things couild change, and I hope they do.

I also wait to get new consoles. Im witing till the ps3 is released to get the 360, and then ill probably get the ps3 when the Wii is released. unless Kingdom Hearts comes out on it before then, then I will be forced to buy a ps3 right away.

Nintendo is the new Sega. Like it or not the evidence is that almost their entire company is hinging on the success of their franchise mascot characters. That's bad gaming business IMO.

Not to mention I still don't get what ass backward logic they've been coming up with every time they put out a new Zelda game... He turns into a wolf now?... Um... yeah...

Well. no matter what you say, ther has not been a Zelda game to date tht I did not love playing. Be it he turns into a wolf or whatever. Zelda is more about the story of the CURRENT game, not the history of the rest of them. Besieds, this is actually a sequel to Ocarina of time. My favorite Zelda game so far.

But Yeah, Nintendo has been making bad choices for EONS. remember the virtual boy? Yeah, that was stupid. Or How bout the GAmeboy "Micro"? and then there was the time that nintendo turned down the idea of adding a Sony based cd system to theirs to be called the "Nintendo Playstation". Good choice fellas. Better for us gamers I guess though. The playstation (Original) revolutionalized games, and the way they are Made/ Played.

Nintendo has become that guy who hangs around the college scene waaaay after graduating.

The big thing I noticed when I started playing the PS2, (which in my head I call the 'Pisty') was that Nintendo Games nowadays all tend to feel very blatently like Nintendo games, whereas the PS2 games all feel like...games. I think of the PS2 more like a DVD player; it's a means for playing games, it's not a brand identity.

Also, the PS2 has the best controller I've ever played with. EVER. Nintendo seems determined to make their controllers as funky as possible, which is funny because the pisty controller is just a SuperNES controller with analog sticks and a more ergonomic design.

Also, don't play Red Ninja. Red Ninja sucks hella bad.

I like the Games on the ps2. But I have never been a fan of the hardware. I am an xbox person. I like the controller for the xbox better. And yeah, nintendo's controllers are the WORST!

But I wholly agree that nintendo has become more of a brand identity rather than a serious game station. I think out of all the current gen games I own maybe 10% are for the GC or DS.

and yeh, Red Ninja DOES suck hella bad.
