Hi, Layton-lovahs!

I was browsing the music section in a local store and stumbled upon the CD of Cirque du Soleil: Quidam for all of one dollar. It turns out that several of the songs on the CD have a ...I dunno..Laytony feel to them. Well before I found out about PL I used to play Dark Cloud 2 on my cousin's PS2. I never got to finish it but I absolutely adored the music. A few years later Dad brings home a game with music that sounded very, very familiar. Lo and behold PL and DC2 were from the same game studio!

Haha, DC2 is one of my favorite JRPGs/games, so I initially got pulled into PL through brand loyalty, tbh.

I always did love Nishiura's score for DC2, the Palm Brinks music (the most Layton-y of the soundtrack I think, aside from the tango piece) being a favorite.
