So... Um... Any fellow Londoners here? :D Doesn't matter either way, but when replaying the second game I always smile when I see the map showing Layton's study on the top DS screen. I know where that is...! It would potentially come in handy for fanfiction purposes, except... I'm not writing much at the moment

Dude, that music is amazing! Nice job! What did you use to make it?

You know, I'm unbelievably happy that Don Paolo gets explained. :D He just seems so obsessed with Layton, there must be a reason for holding such a grudge. But, it just makes me want the third game even more than I already do. I want epic scenes of awesomeness like at the end of the first game. XD
Thanks, I'm glad you liked them! I used two programs, Cubase and Mixcraft. I used Mixcraft to slow down the audio of the originals, so that I could figure out the tempo and the pitch/rhythm. Then I used a keyboard hooked up to my computer to record the parts as MIDI data. Most of the sounds are from Mixcraft, but I preferred Cubase's accordion, and Cubase is better for sequencing drum parts, so... yeah, used them both.
I think I'll probably do a couple more from the second game next, and then focus on doing proper general MIDI files of as many tracks as I can so that other people can do arrangements/remixes/play on an instrument too.
