So... Um... Any fellow Londoners here? :D Doesn't matter either way, but when replaying the second game I always smile when I see the map showing Layton's study on the top DS screen. I know where that is...! It would potentially come in handy for fanfiction purposes, except... I'm not writing much at the moment

Google Maps Time!
On the mini in-game map I can make out St James's Park and Regent's Park (and of course the River Thames). Guessing, but I think Layton's study is near Russell Square, which is conveniently near the British Museum. XD So, yeah, very central. It's also near King's Cross/St. Pancras stations, for... train-travelling purposes, I guess.
But I love the mini-map! It's not very often that you get a Japanese video game with characters that are from/based in London. :P

Sidebar: In that same vein, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor and The World Ends With You are both based off real locations in Tokyo, right down to the storefronts and traffic signs.

I've heard of the World Ends With You, but never played it... Might be good to try it out at some point, if only to see what all the fuss is about.
