My car is saved. ::grin:: So, while I was pleased that I might be able to get a brand new car, I'm also pleased that the damage to my own car wasn't so severe that they won't fix it. I'll have Frankie B back in his parking spot with the next week and a half or so - depending on how long it takes to get the parts.

So, I'm watching the movie Troy for the first time
and I have one question for all of you:
Why on EARTH didn't any of you stop me? I teach this freakin' book - I can't notice anything but the anachronisms. But now I'm too emotionally invested to stop. Plus, it's the only movie I've ever seen where I finally understood how people could find Orlando Bloom attractive.

The good, the bad and the awesome
The bad news: I was in a minor - MINOR - car accident on Friday night. Mike was driving, and he kept going while the person in front of us stopped. No one was hurt, but because my car was designed to crumple on the impact of a whopping 5 to 6 miles per hour, the shole structure collapsed in on itself and it's going to have to be totalled out ( Read more... ) -
