Some people on Equestria Daily absolutely freak when the movie is even MENTIONED. Come on, people. It's the same franchise with the same characters and same writers and same voice artists. That's why it's getting reported on as news. Because it is. I have to accept

Personally, I'm not impressed with EG. Basically, I want my ponies to be ponies (I don't even like anthropomorphised art of them) and wish that Hasbro had come up with a whole new franchise to compete with Monster High and the like, rather than switching the ponies. However, because I'm a big girl, I recognise that there are those who like this idea and are looking forward to the movie and merch and that I can just skip the mentions of them on the net. I really, really, REALLY don't get why some fans are being such idiots about it. If you don't like EG, just don't read the articles about the show, and don't spout off about it like a dick. It's simple.
I'm really sorry that Shezow is having a rough reception, because it sounds like a funny show. I must watch it some time.
You're in luck, then. I think it's being shown on a SkyTV channel, so no more "being blocked in your area." Americans are so weird about cross-dressing or anything different. I honestly don't think this is a whole lot more radical than *Some Like It Hot.* Guy doesn't actually LIKE being Shezow, partly because of the pink skirt and partly because of the responsibility. He hates responsibility. He's basically a slacker. And the pain of it is that whenever there is danger, he spontaneously turns into Shezow and can't turn back until the crisis is over. If he's comfortably sitting around watching wrestling and eating chipadillas and drinking Fizz-Burp, that's just too bad
