Left my personal mobile in the office over the last weekend. Just as i was about to go to bed last night, i realised my mobile's alarm would go off this Monday morning at precisely 7.50am! I think it's a wasp nest that you found? Potter wasp, maybe? They usually paralyse their prey so that the larvae may feed on 'em. Cooool...

alright you got me. I dont know my horny hornets from pottery-making wasps. ok i shall do some research to confirm later. but yea its like having my own live Discovery channel...but i wasnt too happy with sharin my room with that huge bugger flying in and out like no one's biz (that's how i noticed heh)

Nice one synapseman. But what's freaky is that there are at least 4 crab spiders in the nest. And these actually eat wasps.

ok how does a crab spider eat a wasp? that wasp in my house was HUGE. just from vague recollection i always thought wasps were much bigger than any of those dead spiders. unless those spiders were young adults or soemthing.

actually, if u click on the picture for a bigger size, you would see there are at least 8 corpses :P

no lah the wasp/hornet thingy didnt get those "food" from my home. it probably flew out to the West Coast Park swamp behind my house hehe

Woah, it must have taken some time for the wasp/hornet/flying insect thingy to build up his prized collection of dried spiders! Man, how long has it been freeloading at your place without paying rent? :) I like the Venom reference. LOL!

Time spent on my property = time taken for those 3 of 8 corpses to become dry white skeletons hahah

i cant wait for Spiderman 3!
