The Hornet's Nest

Left my personal mobile in the office over the last weekend. Just as i was about to go to bed last night, i realised my mobile's alarm would go off this Monday morning at precisely 7.50am! I know im stating the obvious, but my alarm is really, REALLY LOUD. I dont imagine anyone would be there at 7+ but i would imagine the alarm will just keep blasting its speaker lungs out till someone actually stops the damn thing.

So i tried to hurry down to the office before the crowd comes streaming in at 9am and wonder why the hell is there some Japanese song* being broadcast across the entire level.

See, that's why i dont advocate an open office concept. You never know when someone will leave his alarm in the office over the weekend and actually not be in the office when it goes off and drives everyone within a 1km radius crazy.

Anyways to get to the point, turns out a couple of early colleagues heard the alarm but when i asked if it disturbed them greatly they said no. Power to me for having the presence of mind to ask such a considerate and intellectual question.

*Song playing was Bleach OP1 - Asterisk by Orange Range

Noticed a hornet flying in and out of my bookcase. When it flew out of my room, i quickly closed the window after it and began to investigate the bookcase. Found the nest, and knocked it down. I thought i would find some larvae but instead i found these dried up spider corpses that Venom will surely want for his collection.
