I say write the article as requested. Experience is a limited commodity in the "Real World" and getting any, much less a position on a resume-padder like a student paper is a good idea. Besides, what are they asking her to do, lie? If she gives the data accurately, her real message can be found between the lines, however the requested spin goes. Availability of testing will undoubtedly be covered in this article and a taste of faux scandal will get kids reading about it far quicker than without.
Any news is good news. Media is murder to break into once you're out of college, listen to big bro on this. Get in while the gettin's good.
The sponsorship also bothers me, especially since condom use should be complimentary to testing, not an alternative to it. Anyone who thinks about it for more than 3 seconds can see that. On a side note: Trojan condoms are not very good. They have a reputation for breakage as far as I know. On a more irrelavent side note: I refuse to use any condom named after a society whose downfall occured due to penetration of its walls with an object that was 'pregnant with arms' (translated from the Latin). It just doesn't seem like a good idea.
