D'awww. Dean is a good brother. <3 And very interesting, that Jess was transgendered. Hmmm....well we don't know for sure, do we? ;) Anyway, I think my favorite part of this was the fact that Dean is always able to recognize Sam's "I just got laid" face.
And by the way, because your fic reminded me, you know Stanford University just did a production of RENT last fall?

Teehee. I don't know any transladies, so I'm unsure to what degree someone would know (I suppose it depends on pre-op/no-op vs. post-op) but it's a pretty safe assumption that Adrienne Palicki is cisgender. Hollywood discrimination is annoying that way :( Oh well, just an AU to dream about...

I really like RENT! OK, it's now in my official headcanon! Sam and Dean drove back there to see it on one of their hunting breaks.

OMG. Plotbunny. I smell a sequel.

Ahahahaha, awesome. Do it. (You're talking to a bonafide RENThead right here.) Yay for Supernatural mixed with musical theater! I am currently in the middle of one involving the boys getting roped into sitting through a production of Les Miserables, actually, all so Dean can score brownie points with one of the actresses...
As to Adrienne...yeah, I'm thinking she was born a girl. If she wasn't though...what a victory for the LGBT community, having a transgendered actress playing Wonder Woman on TV. ;)

I LOVE SPN/musical theater mashups. I actually have this idea of S and D checking out a haunted Broadway theater, which is something of a triple play: I get to write Winchesters-in-NYC, Winchesters-and-musical-theater, and Winchesters-and-Green-Day (because of course the play they're seeing is American Idiot. That has nothing to do with my favorite band, no it does not.)

But the Les Miserables idea is so awesome! I await it excitedly.
