Squee! Oh, that was just...words can not describe how awesome that was. Generally I love any fic that takes someplace cold and snowy, but this had the added bonus of being so sweet and well written. I also loved that you mentioned Jayne's crush on Kaylee, so many Rayne fans--myself included--tend to overlook that little bit of canon. Heh. ♥

Aw, I love it. So so good. Lovely Jayne-dialogue, perfectly in character-- and sometimes he's so hard to write. But you did it very very well.

I loved the whole premise of this fic, that she had seen it, and it had already happened and he just needed to accept it. XD

Yeah, loved it. And for a first FF-fic, was pretty close to perfect. ^_^

Kudos!!! Your characterizations of all the crew were splendid. For this being your first Firefly/Rayne fic, that was pretty amazing.

The interaction between River and Jayne at the Fair was so sweet. Favorite lines:

Jayne growled in frustration, before crumpling himself, “Look. I ain’t fit to be with a girl like you. Anyone with a lick of sense will tell you that.”

“I don’t care about sense. I care about this,” She put her hand over his heart, gazing down at her action, before glancing back up.

He darted his eyes away. “Aw River,” He took a deep breath. “I’d ignore anythin’ goin’ on in there. It ain’t worth it. Trust me.”

Really loved it...hope you continue with River's journey to claim her prize.

Second, thank you!!! I'm so happy people think I was in character. I was worried about that.

I might continue it. I'd like to, but I don't know. I always have such a backlog of writing and Whedonland keeps me very busy since I'm a mod there.

Thank you! Glad you liked it. I like cold snowy weather myself. As I said above, there is just something romantic about it.

I might continue. I might not. I'd like to continue, but I'm not sure I'll have the time with all my other fics. I suppose if enough people wanted me to though I would. :D
