Great phrase: "her broken doll"

So interesting that Cara loves both Dahlia and Jennsen. Although of course Cara doesn't think of it as love but as possession -- that they are both hers.

Thank you!

I think at this stage in her development, Cara would be hesitant to acknowledge anything as love, because that's a weakness. Instead she claims people as possessions that she is fond of. :D

It's so fascinating seeing what Jennsen's role could have been in the Reckoning AU. And then Cara...and then..it all ties together and...

I'm glad you enjoyed it bb! Frankly, the long gap between chapters has been partly because I've been wrestling with this one, but I guess I showed that MOFO in the end. >_>

beautifully written.

Cara's possessive "love" seems very in character.

Thank you for sharing.

SO happy to see this again. Dahlia, don't worry, Cara has room enough in her heart for both you and Jennsen.

"These thoughts gave Cara strength, though they did nothing to ease the hard stone lodged in her heart and gut. She did not know what it was, and did not care to examine it." Great imagery!

I always love the different ways you write Jennsen and Cara. But I really love Dahlia in this, too. So different from the Dahlia in CiA. (Who I also loved).

I like the sharp-edged "feel" of this story.
