And then you see Arya and the Baratheon bastard, and I kind of want them to get married and take the Iron Throne based on seeing them sit next to each other for 5 seconds.
But then I also want Dany to marry either Tyrion or Jorah and take the throne.
Or Tyrion and Sansa.
Or Tyrion and Jon Snow.
And Robb can keep the north.
CONFLICTED.
Oh, man, right there with you. I ship Tyrion/Anyone Who Will Love him and Tyrion/Power. These two things do not need to be combined with a marriage, but they do not hurt.
I must say I would not mind Daenerys takes the throne, Tyrion takes the black and Jon and Tyrion (as a couple, because the vows say no wives or kids, not no boyfriends) fight off monsters cleverly ever after. Or Daenerys/Sansa hot lady in waiting action, because we know Daenerys canonically enjoys that sort of thing. Or, you know, all the ships that do not involve rape or murder or unhappiness. (Within the couple. Obviously, the universe they live in is almost entirely made out of rape and murder and unhappiness.)
But when did Arya and Joff sit next to each other? She only appeared at the end.I didn't mean Arya and Joffrey. I meant Arya and Bob the Beggar King's oldest bastard, the one with the boar helmet

Oh but you have to have a favorite to win! It's like the Super Bowl, except infinitely more interesting! You need to root for a team... or seven. >_> Oh, the Starks are my favorites - but they just want to rule the North, protect the rest of the country from the real enemies, and let the others do their crazy shit and leave them alone.
Dany might prove a problem for them, though....unless....
I ship Sansa/Tyrion like none other. And there's only an eleven year age difference in the books. So it's... not as creepy as it could be? LOL I'M JUST TRYING TO JUSTIFY IT OKAY.
Oh well, I thought the age difference was greater based on the actors. But eleven years isn't so bad, once Sansa is a little older. It would still be creepy her being a teenager in a modern setting, but in a fantasy setting a lot of women get married in their mid to late teens so it doesn't skeeve me out as much.
My hubby is 13 years older than me, so you can totally ship Tyrion and Sansa even with the age difference. It just makes him a better partner. *nods* After being around the asshat (who is better known as Joffrey), she needs a more mature man.
Oh well, I thought the age difference was bigger based on the ages of the actors. I think up to a twenty year difference is fine, provided that both people are adults and on equal footing, but I thought the Sansa/Tyrion age difference was pushing that envelope, plus she's really young, and even though it's a fantasy setting where I'd be less disturbed by an adult/minor relationship then I would in a modern setting, it's still >_>
I suppose if I had to pick a House it would be Targaryan, but I love all of them. Mostly, I love the women on this show. Dany, Cat, Cersei, Sansa, and Arya are all so awesome. Some of the men are awesome too (Tyrion, Ned, Jorah, and Drogo come to mind), but I'm all about the women on this show for some reason

The only other thing I want is Littlefinger dead. Preferably in some really painful way and killed by either Arya or Sansa.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.com. HOW ABOUT LITTLEFINGER IS DELICIOUS AND NEEDS TO NEVER DIE.
Re: Joffrey slappage
I think it would bother me more in a modern setting, where it's unquestionably child abuse, but in the world of GoT it was actually a really minor punishment. Corporeal punishment was rampant in this sort of 'time period', to the point of having sayings like 'spare the rod and spoil the child' and 'bringing up by hand', meaning beat the shit out of the kids to make them good people. So Joffrey getting slapped in this context didn't bother me a whole lot, when they could have as easily whipped him or beat him with a pole - though I suppose as a prince, he'd have a whipping boy.
But yes, in a modern context, like if this show was set in present day, it would be all kinds of skeevy.
LOL - Keep telling yourself that about Littlefinger! We'll see.
I have my favorite theory about how he meets his end, and, I agree with the above poster - he needs to die, but not right away, because he's so clever and entertaining.
Speaking of which - If you want to hear a lot of Tyrion/Littlefinger verbal sparring this season, stay tuned.
Very entertaining post! I love all the GIFs. I feel you on the Arya/Gendry and Dany/Jorah, I SHIP THEM SO HARD. Get to reading those books as soon as you can! Preferably after taking exams, because when I got far enough, I had a hard time putting them down.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed my nonsensical ramblings XD

Noted!
Though, tbh, I'm leaning toward only reading the book that corresponds with the season after the season is done, because I enjoy not knowing what's going to happen.
