I gave this this two points and one was for Zedd being awesome and one was for Zedd being dark haired and awesome. Zedd and Darken were the only things keeping my attention in the early episodes. Also, yes, I'd forgotten about the flower continuity :D [unlike the disguise continuity; here it's they'll recognise me, I'll dye my hair...but later it's hello, Rueben Rybnik White Haired Puppeeter]
Lol maybe one day XD Idk, I was kind of drunk when I made those and they seemed really hilarious at the time, but no one has liked them or reblogged them really, so maybe not.
Hmmm the disguise continuity... Maybe he thinks D'Harans will recognize him, but Tamarangians (Tamarangs? Tamarangese?) won't?
Awww, you make me think Renn is cute again :D Also, I want an AU where he makes Darken and Egremont hug it out :D
Kahlan's childhood issues are fascinating to me, so I mostly paid attention to that...I love the continuity of Zedd leaving them the flowers, but I did notice a flaw - at the end of this episode, they give Renn to the Sisters of Light, not the Sisters of the Light. It's probably the same people, but it made me wonder if there could be slightly different groups.
You should write the AU. Dooo iitttttt. DOOO IITTTTT. O_O
As for the Sisters of the Light, when Zedd goes back to get Renn in S2, it is the Sisters of the Light, robes, dacras and all, so I think it's a case of them just not being sure what they were going to do with the Sisters of the Light in S1. You'll notice too that the Sister in this episode is not wearing the usual SoL robes, kind of how the first time a Mord'Sith appears she's wearing a black dress because they hadn't really introduced the Mord'Sith yet (though I suppose the woman in the black dress could be a concubine or a sorceress, but she acts like a Mord'Sith).

That was very strange. I want to think she wasn't a Mord'Sith, because of the outfit, but on the other hand my head!canon for D'Hara is that it's in general very sexist and patriarchal, so a woman who wasn't a Mord'Sith being that confident would be strange.
Probably a case of the writers not being careful enough, which is annoying.
I don't know if they weren't being careful enough so much as it was a deliberate choice to keep the Mord'Sith 'veiled' until they were ready to do the episode introducing the Mord'Sith. 'Denna' has more impact because it's the first time we see the leather costume.
