[Axel has managed, with a great deal of effort, to haul himself into a sitting position. He swings his legs over the edge of the bed and, using the wall, hauls himself to his feet - he almost falls immediately, but staggers towards the window.]

[Harry is in a semi-conscious state in the living room, staring at the floor with glazed eyes, but the sound of the window shattering snaps him out of it. He gets up as fast as he can, ignoring the shaking of his legs and the pain shooting through his body, and stumbles as fast as he can to Axel's room, practically collapsing through the door]

Fuck!

[He surveys the carnage, supporting himself on the wall]

Fuck! Axel, you stupid bastard!

...Harry, you stupid bastard. Way to go. "What's a painless way to die?", huh?

[Axel's not quite dead yet, but he's clearly on his way out the door; he didn't have enough strength to really do it properly, and it's not like he's gone around slitting other people's throats for practice. He's leaning against the bed, slumped forward and coughing in a horribly sticky way, his green eyes dazed and focused on the splatters of red across the floor and the quickly spreading puddle around him.]

[Catching his balance, Harry hurries over, kneeling down next to Axel]

Fuck, Axel, you moron, what the hell do you think you're doing?

[If Axel weren't in the middle of bleeding out all over the place, he'd roll his eyes at such a stupid question; as it is, he slumps further against the bed, giving a gurgling sputter that was SUPPOSED to be a laugh. It's okay, though, because it's working - the pain's all but gone, along with the goddamn fucking heat, and he's starting to feel like he's falling.]
