Gwendal was having one of those days too. One of those weeks... months even. He looked up when she knocked on the door. "Yes, come in," he said, tone weary.
She sighed and took a seat and thought for a moment on how to phrase her question. "Would there be copies of the books in the library elsewhere? I can't get one I need to help Gunter-san right now with something, and thought you might know? I know it's not really your department but I don't know many people here which I could ask.
Jennifer is walking down the hall, headed for Gunter's office when she catches sight of long, lavender hair. She speeds up her pace and waves a hand. "Gunter-san! I was looking for you." She's calmed down a bit by now, but is still not in her normal cheerful mood.
He turns, flowers still in his hands and smiles, then frowns at her. “Something wrong? You have frown creases.” He said, gesturing with a 'Yuuri-sama', before handing it to her.
She gave the man a small smile as she took the flower. "Thank you." She smelled it and her smiled turned bigger, feeling much better now. "I haven't been to the library since we left for the meeting yesterday." She sighed and looked down at the flower. "It seems our visitor burned both the books we had and our notes. I assume it's them since while I wasn't there when it happened, who else would do that? I was hoping you may personally have a copy of the books so we can continue research."
He sighed, looking downwards and thinking for a moment. “Some of them are in my personal occult library, but not all. I have the notes I took last night inside my office as well.” He took a moment to recompose his shock, which didn't even register on his face.
He should have thought of this difficulty with Gisela being involved. Now the spirit knew they were attempting to evict it and would do what it could to stop them. This would prove difficult. “It sees we may have a difficulty on our hands.” He murmured quietly, but quickly looked back to her with a smile. “I can easily fix things when I return. Don't worry too much.” He said resting a hand on her shoulder in comfort.
“Oh, and Conrad, he's sleeping in his room and will be for quite some time. Could you please make sure that he doesn't leave the castle?” He felt horrible for the request, but it had to be made.
