Jennifer is walking down the hall, headed for Gunter's office when she catches sight of long, lavender hair. She speeds up her pace and waves a hand. "Gunter-san! I was looking for you." She's calmed down a bit by now, but is still not in her normal cheerful mood.
He turns, flowers still in his hands and smiles, then frowns at her. “Something wrong? You have frown creases.” He said, gesturing with a 'Yuuri-sama', before handing it to her.
She gave the man a small smile as she took the flower. "Thank you." She smelled it and her smiled turned bigger, feeling much better now. "I haven't been to the library since we left for the meeting yesterday." She sighed and looked down at the flower. "It seems our visitor burned both the books we had and our notes. I assume it's them since while I wasn't there when it happened, who else would do that? I was hoping you may personally have a copy of the books so we can continue research."
He sighed, looking downwards and thinking for a moment. “Some of them are in my personal occult library, but not all. I have the notes I took last night inside my office as well.” He took a moment to recompose his shock, which didn't even register on his face.
He should have thought of this difficulty with Gisela being involved. Now the spirit knew they were attempting to evict it and would do what it could to stop them. This would prove difficult. “It sees we may have a difficulty on our hands.” He murmured quietly, but quickly looked back to her with a smile. “I can easily fix things when I return. Don't worry too much.” He said resting a hand on her shoulder in comfort.
“Oh, and Conrad, he's sleeping in his room and will be for quite some time. Could you please make sure that he doesn't leave the castle?” He felt horrible for the request, but it had to be made.
"You don't even have to ask about Conrad, of course I'll do it. And as for Gisela-san... Do you want me to do anything while you're gone, or do we just stick with the plan we had before? I'm sure she'll be a great help but this could also happen again." She sighed. "I'm sorry to force you to make this kind of decision about your own daughter, but it needs to be dealt with."
He nodded easily in agreement, hiding the turmoil inside himself. “I think, perhapses she should be confined to her room. For her own safety as well as others.” He said finally. “She needs to do something to help though. She'll go insane if she's not able to. Maybe, she could help, but you could keep the data and resources.” He took her hand and smiled gently at her through his lower lashes. “I'm sorry that I'm forced to ask so much of you.”
"You have your own things to deal with right now." She looked him in the eye as she said it, a non-verbal sign to stop apolgizing. "Then to get the books, and you'll deal with Gisela-san yourself or I? Then after that I won't tie up anymore of your time." She looked down at the flower again, lost in her thoughts for a moment before she looked back up at the man. "Good luck Gunter-san, we will be waiting for you at home."
He took her hand and gave her a short bow. “Thank you, Jen-sama. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated by everyone.” He straightened. “I can lead you to my office now if you have the time, and give you the key. Conrad also has one as he has recently taken the position of assistant with me to pass the time while he is here.” He paused a moment, thinking on the wild eyed man. There was quite a bit of worry that he would attempt to follow. This world wasn't safe for anyone right now, not the least of which would be a man who looked like one of the countries best fighters.
“As for Gisela,” He continue, starting in the direction of his private quarters. “I think that I should tell her this myself. It's not going to be an easy thing for her to take, and I think that it would be best if I, if I told her myself.”
"Yes, I think you're right." She took the offered key for him as the two finished the short walk to his office, and it was a matter of minutes before Jennifer felt comfortable enough. She gave the man a short bow. "I think we're done for now then. And I probably won't see you until you get back." She gave him a worried glance. "We will manage here, so you watch yourself out there. I'd hate to see something happen to Hube-san or you."
He smiled kindly at her, grateful for her worried words. “Please, don't worry about us. We are both seasoned fighters, we will be fine.” He assured her. “I will speak to Gisela as soon as I leave you.” He took her hand rather gallantly. “You have my word Jen-sama.” And he kissed it lightly before righting. “I wish you all the best luck in the castle while I am unable to assist you.” He handed her another flower before politely disentangling himself from her and heading for Gisela's room.
