I keep getting these notices in my email that my paid account is expiring, and in the past I have rushed to renew it; but this year I just don't know what I shall do. I barely use this account anymore for posting, though I do read my Friends Page every day or two; I don't comment as much as I used to and really don't know if I use LJ $25 anymore. Lately everywhere I go (which is admittedly not far from my sofa), I'm assailed by lists of books that "everyone should read" or a list where you're supposed to tick the ones you've read out of 100 or a list of books that people lie about having read on Facebook or in The Times; it makes me wonder, really. Not much going on here
I've been cooking alot more lately; last night exblogger and I made filet au poivre, potatoes gratin, and roasted carrots. It turned out pretty well, I have to say.
Jake rigged up an xbox so that I can watch old TV shows, and I've since gone through 2 seasons of Psych, which I love, and am starting on Dexter, which so far is good but super-bloody. Even ( Read more... ) -

Merry Christmas
I'm in Jxn again--drove down last night because exblogger has a bigass kidney stone and didn't feel like driving to his parents' as planned. He and I both have sinus infections and are on antibiotics, etc; we're just kind of lying around today.
