A show that you wish more people were watching: Oban Star-Racers

I'm skewing this a little to be "a show that more people should watch" because it isn't airing now (it wasn't canceled, it was only meant to be a story contained in about 26 episodes).

If it's a cartoon made in Japan, it's an anime.

I actually loved this show when it was on in the morning, and definitely meant to keep up with it.
I do dislike the use of CG however. It bugs me when they font just bother to animate it for realsies.

I shudder to think of the hell the animators would've gone through if they DID do the races with 2-D cel animation. I mean, these are high-speed futuristic races we're talking about. Personally, I think they made the right call.

CG is NEVER the right call. 2d traditional animation will ALWAYS look better. Period. CG looks gaudy and entirely out of place, and is just a signifier of poor production value.
That said, Oban star racers was still pretty great. The stories and characters and that sweet belt mounted boom box the main character had made up for the CG, imo.
