So my Millermates and I were talking about The Big Sleep (the book we're reading for Lowbrow right now) and how it portrayed its world. This happened:

Me: All the women he runs into in the bookstores sound like they could be porn stars. I mean, who sees people like that in bookstores?Malcolm: *quietly raises hand
