The people who lived here before us were not gardeners but the family here before them had some serious gardeners among them. There's some stuff in the yard that I've never seen anywhere else! I love my herb garden. It smells good. It tastes good AND the best part....I hardly ever need to touch it. That sage started out at the old house, moved to a pot, survived the winter, summered in the ground and then survived another winter. It's getting bigger and bigger this spring. Our drought didn't phase it.

I am blessed to have moved to a house with azalea bushes that have been here for many years. Some of them may be older than me. Most of them are larger than my car. The best part is that I don't have to do anything to them and they are amazing every year. Blake always wants to cut them but I always tell him it's the wrong time of year.
