Without you, I'm like this, Prince. Like an agonizing bird.
[After the curse that forced her to face her loss, Rue had caged herself, unwilling to leave the stage as she danced. To convey her sorrow with the grace of her moves. To end again and again as the Dying Swan. Arms folded, on tiptoe, she dreamily and very slowly circled the stage. With

There.
[Sitting down, she turned on her communication device. She'd just stay up a couple minutes and browse the network, before crawling back into bed. It was a little past midnight, and so she assumed that if there was a curse...possibly there would be some news already crept across the network. What she didn't expect to see though was the beautiful dancer. Surprised...she couldn't help but watch. It was so...beautiful, even though it felt incredibly sad at the same time. As Rue drew to a close, Tohru couldn't help but give her a small applause. She didn't know if it was meant to be broadcast, but it definitely deserved some sort of praise.]
Hurray! That was amazing ( ... )

Did you enjoy yourself? The best dances are those that portray tragedy and estranged love~

[Maybe it was because they had just been married. Then again, she'd never been particularly fond of tragedies. They made her cry.]
AH! But I mean...yes, I really did enjoy it. It must have taken years of practice to become that good.

[She can't believe what she is hearing. Happily ever after. She doesn't want to see her happy, she doesn't want her to love this man and be so happy with him. She... Rue closes her eyes briefly.]
I did it for my Prince years. You could learn and dance with your husband.

And already Rosella can see that things are starting to take a turn for the worse, but she's determined to stay optimistic, despite it all. It's a challenge now, seeing if she can hold out until November without giving the City the misery it's after, and if there's one thing Rosella hates, it's losing at a challenge.
Which is why she's not paying very careful attention to her surroundings as she makes her way home from the Library; she's absorbed in her thoughts, mulling them over again and again as she walks purposefully towards home.]

[Rue's voice seemed to come to behind her, but the girl appears ahead, concealed under the shade of the nearest building.]
I was hoping I catch you to talk about something.

[She knows that voice, and it brings a smile to her face. It's good to see Rue out and about, particularly after the curse a few days ago. And perhaps that's what she wants to talk about, after all.
Either way, Rosella always has a minute for her friends, and particularly so for Rue, so she makes her way toward the shadowed figure without a second's hesitation.]
No, I'm in no hurry--just a little lost in thought, I suppose. But of course, I always have a minute for you. How are you today?
Reply
Lost? That's not good. What if something happens to you?
[She motions Rosella so she will follow her.]
I have been thinking... about what you told me the other day. I have been very selfish, I admit you are right, I should share my sadness with my friends.

If only she could take their love and bliss. She walked, burning in the craving to rip out their precious feelings.]

[Menolly smiled over at her, fingers gently tuning the strings on the small lapharp she was planning on playing for the evening.]

Hello. What are you playing?

By anybody's standards, the past few weeks had been a loss. But some... helpful prodding from Seifer, and the sad state the police force was in, finally frustrated Squall enough to shake off the depression that had gripped him since Rinoa had disappeared. A visit to the Hall of the Missing with the last reported roster in hand had turned out to be reasonably productive, and the metaphorical mental gears were grinding away as Squall headed along the street.
For the moment, he wasn't in any real hurry; he made a last note in his Network device as he went before looking up from it to mind where he was headed, still wearing a faint frown of concentration.]

She walked out of the Hall, after tidying her clothes and hair. If her Prince wasn't here to love her, then she would have someone else... everyone else fill the emptiness his loss left her with.]

If anyone had been there to ask him, he couldn't have even said what it was about her that made him think, just for that first instant, sorceress. But rather than Adel or Ultimecia or Edea, the feeling reminded him more than anything of Rinoa, and so he hesitated, the trace of wariness falling away from his expression.
He thought briefly about saying something, but with no idea of what to say, he settled for nodding to her instead.]

She recognized the feeling, a certain nostalgia from him? He had been in the Hall of the Missing?]
And you?~ Who did you lose?

[Rue was watching Lady, casually, leaning casually on a wall with her arms crossed. At least this woman didn't seem very happy, just like her, but she wasn't as miserable as she was.]

Maybe, but I manage.

Is that a lucky charm?~
