I have had many experiences lately that have made me realize how frail life really is. Hitting a deer with my car and literally exploding its head, watching a squirrel run out into the middle of the street and get crushed with barely a flinch from the person driving the car that ran over it, and a collection of people I know that have died for ( Read more... )

So many people walk around with a meaningless life. Your life, my dear, is far from meaningless. Some seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.

...amazing journal post. If you start to focus on all the bad things that happen and question....is it all worth it? You've been dealt a hand that shows tragedy and sadness. The answer is yes. In the end, whenever the end may be...you have to have faith that one day it will all be worth it!!! And your perfect hand will be revealed.
