So, Dragonmeet went off swimmingly yesterday; lots and lots and lots of autographing at the Pelgrane booth, chances to catch up with British friends from pwca to ffutures to timgray, some fine review-game swag for the column (which I hope to update while I'm out here with a Con Report), and plenty of people playing plenty of games

I hope that I was a little more coherent than I think I was - yesterday was the end of a VERY long week and I was so tired I nearly fell asleep in my post-con noodles.

At various San Diego cons we used to do a panel called "four arrogant bastards in search of a topic" (or "three arrogant bastards and an arrogant bitch in search of a topic"), whose premise was that audience members could propose any topic they liked for the panel to discuss, and the panel would attempt to hold a conversation about it. Audience members who reduced us to inarticulate silence got preprinted and signed certificates. . . .
