Christmas is right around the corner. It's somewhat amusing to see everyone racing around with decorations and buying gifts and everything. Of course nothing compares to the crazy holiday season in LA. There may not be snow, but people still get into the holiday spirit there. It has come to my attention that this school lacks diversity clubs. And considering the wide range of places and cultures of both the student and faculty bodies, I am surprised and dismayed by this fact. Yes, there are many hobby clubs. But I fail to see any clubs that expand the students' knowledge of each other's cultures ( Read more... )

It seems with the change in seasons, I'm feeling a bit under the weather. I probably won't go out as often. Better to just stay in my dorm and get well as soon as possible. It's nothing serious that warrants any sort of concern, but I want to play it safe just in case.

I think autumn is one of my least favorite seasons. It can't decide whether it wants to be warm or cold. Besides, all the leaves falling everywhere just gets in the way. Talk about a mess. It certainly has been very warm these past few days. At least it hasn't been muggy as well. Those sorts of days are the worst. But coming from LA, I'm used to hot weather.
