SCREAM WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME ALEX wandbreaker August 30 2010, 20:44:17 UTC
Cats.

Do you usually go out when there are mad curses?

I AM SO SORRY. I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON :( primrosella August 30 2010, 20:48:43 UTC
I suppose I ought to be grateful she's not breaking lamps, at least.

If I do, it's usually only by accident. Either I don't notice the curse fast enough and I'm already out when it occurs to me, or someone gets into trouble because of the curse and I go out to try to help.

Do you want to go out?

A bit, I suppose, but if it's a mess outside...well, there's no sense in asking for trouble, and going out might be exactly that.

Er...no, not this one, I'm afraid. She's a cat, and a girl at that.

Are you quite sure you want to go out in all this?

Reply

primrosella August 30 2010, 23:33:47 UTC
Well, no, but--

On second thought, it--would really be better if I just stayed in, wouldn't it? Really, that's what I ought to do. I'll have my walk tomorrow, instead, and just keep inside today, I think.

You know that staying in is quite my solution to these sorts of things.

Would you care for company on your walk tomorrow?

I suppose I'm just feeling a bit restless today, that's all. I would've liked to get out of the house, but with the curse the way it is...well, no, it'd be better to wait, it's true.

But yes! Yes, please, I'd like that very much, yes.

ps, the boys would probably stay a few nights if she asked ;___; had_not_lived August 31 2010, 04:45:31 UTC
Going for a walk is probably okay, but I don't know how far I'd risk going...

she is still trying to be strong and not TOTALLY needy. :( but she would like that. a lot. primrosella August 31 2010, 04:49:18 UTC
I...I think it might just be asking for trouble, though, so I think I'd better...wait. And just go tomorrow, instead, when there isn't all this commotion outside.

awkward issues aside they def. don't want to ditch her right now D: had_not_lived August 31 2010, 04:55:16 UTC
It wasn't quite so wild when I left this morning, but... maybe that's not a bad idea.

...Want me to bring back something for dinner?

poet-y snuggletiemz will have to wait. rosella is totally commandeering all the snuggles for herself primrosella August 31 2010, 05:01:52 UTC
Well, there's...that is, you could if you wanted, or there's plenty in the kitchen if you'd rather not...

Though, if it's not too far out of your way, I could use another bag of flour? I'm running a bit low, and we could have cookies tonight, if I had some more.

I bet it won't take Snowball long to warm up to you. She's just got to get used to all of the changes.

As nice as the weather is, I vote for staying inside. Someone I know was being gnawed on by a giant hairball. It wasn't hurting him or anything, but... giant hairball. There's no end of gross there.

I think she's doing a little better than before, just...hiding, mostly. But she doesn't seem upset when I see her, at least. Just that she's avoiding me.

...A giant hairball?

She'll come around.

Yep. Giant hairball.

Oh, dear. However did that come about, do you know? It's not like the hair monster again, is it?
