Your admirer was quite taken with your dress yesterday, I think.

Do you think so? How odd, and it wasn't even a particularly pretty one, either. Just the same sort of work dress I wear every day, really.

He said as much when I inquired after the lady he'd seen. There aren't so many ladies in the City who dress as you do.

I am a bit odd that way, it's true. But I like my dresses; they're much more practical than the things most other girls seem to wear. Honestly, you can't fit a thing into the pockets of those jeans, if you're lucky enough to have a pair that has any at all.

You were his woman?

[mumbled forever]

Thought he said she was pretty.

Hm? Well, I was the one he seemed to be looking for, yes.

[Sooo lucky she wasn't paying close enough attention to hear that.]

[cough]

Didn't describe you well.

It certainly wasn't the most...elegant of descriptions, but I thought it did a reasonable enough job of it.

Dare I ask what part you felt was lacking?

I've got to admit being dead sucks. It was good to talk to you, Rosella.

You've...er, been dead before, Dean? I'm terribly sorry to hear that. But it was very nice speaking with you, too.

Yeah but I'm kicking now so it's good.

So...some guy said you were a princess. Like a real one. Not a stripper pretending.

Well, that's good to hear, at least.

Oh, someone mentioned that, did he? Well, yes, it's true. I don't often introduce myself as such here in the City, but I'm Princess Rosella of Daventry.

Well, I do have to meet Kanda in about an hour, so...just after dinner, perhaps? Then we can bake all night, if we like, and you'll have plenty of treats for breakfast in the morning.

Oh! Yes, I'd like that very much--all of it, the baking and the movies and everything, it all sounds simply lovely. Though I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting Billy yet, come to think of it. He lives with you, I gather?

Not a problem!

If you ever want to dig for recipes, I have some cookbooks from the bookstore. I'm sure there're some good pies in them that you wouldn't have had in Daventry.

Oh, I'd like that very much! I have a whole shelf of them myself, but I've read through most of those already and I could always use a new recipe or two. Or three, or even four, perhaps. And of course, I'm always open to trying new sorts of pie!

Maybe we should have a pie party. Get all the ingredients, make one of every pie we can find a recipe for.

That would be fun. I'm having something of the sort with Neil and Todd tonight, but we're not limiting it just to pies, but to anything we think we'd like to bake at all. But I'd like to try all the different pies sometime, too!
