Mostly you just hit the brake, put the car in park, and then turn the car off.

No, I really, really don't. But I, er, hadn't thought that buildings would be that much of a concern. It's not as though the roads go terribly close to them or anything like that, the way someone on horseback might, say, have to watch out for trees.
