Great installment. I loved Abby in this, being so sane and trying to batter some sense into Nick! And I liked the glimpse of him in the university doing the lecture -- I'd like more stories where we see that. And the section about why Abby actually does like sharing with Connor was really sweet *g*.

Um, we won't have to wait three months for the next bit, will we? *g*.

No, not this time :-) I'm well into the third part already. I decided it was best to have the next bit well-advanced before posting part two; and part four, which I hope will wrap things up, is more or less planned out in my head. So fear not!

LOL! I felt a bit guilty, leaving it so long, but the story wasn't being co-operative. It's going better now. I can't promise, but it might be done by the end of the week if things go as well as they have been the last day or two.

Thanks, glad you like it. And no, hopefully it'll be a much shorter wait for the third part, as I've written a substantial amount already! Poor Nick is a bit hopeless on the emotional front, isn't he? Well, more than a bit if truth be known. If there's a crashing blunder to be made, he'll make it. I dread to think what's going to happen to him in Luka's fic.

Love the Nick and Abby stuff in this part - we don't see enough of them together on screen, but they work together really well! But it's sad that the team dynamic has broken down so much...
