Rika had been in the library herself, but just now she notices that Edward, too, was present. Much of the books in the library haven't been helpful to her and it doesn't help that she barely knows how to read Western characters. She just watches him for a moment, curious about what he may be searching for.
Unlike Haruhi, she is just going to wait right there until he decides to turn around. It would be rude to interrupt him, wouldn't it? So, she will keep standing there patiently.

[His attention is wholly on the books. Nearly every damn one of them was all but useless, but that wasn't how libraries worked. Even if you had to read between the lines, to piece together something from the information that wasn't there...
He refused to believe they could be entirely useless. The Scientists went out of their way to prevent information to fall into the hands of the people here -- why? What did they want? Why stick around a crumbling city like this? What kind of world was beyond this place?
That was where books came in. You could tell a lot about a society from the books they wrote.
He frowned, closed the one in his hand, replaced it on the shelf. Reached for another, accidentally knocked over the pile by his feet. Turned to pick them up, and--]

[Just a little over two years was the longest that someone has been trapped in the city. Rika thought if that was the longest, the whole city should have been scoured through enough and that anything useful must have already been found. But, there may be some information that she herself didn't know about. There was no harm in searching through everything again a second time.
The moment Edward turned around, Rika didn't budge one bit. Did she even hear him?
Silently, she continued to stare at him for a moment longer with her hands innocently tucked behind her back... and then.......]
