Oh wow. This is awesome/creepy on so many levels.

When Ben asked why, if he could turn into smoke, he wanted to walk around in a human body, the Smoke Monster replied, "Because I like to feel the earth beneath my feet." Or something like that.

No doubt, now that he has a body, he's longed for some sort of contact, even if he ends up nearly killing them. I've always thought that Locke harbored some romantic feelings for Claire, so perhaps the Monster's attraction to her is a weird leftover effect.

Wow, this was great. I won't get into the incest stuff, but it was well done. haha.

Thank you! There's a really fantastic author, crickets, and she writes Jack/Claire so beautifully, it's just amazing. But I'm glad you enjoyed.

Hmm, I quite like this. Does it take place after Jake becomes the new Jacob? It's quite beautiful, and Jack gives off a sort-of "all-knowing" vibe, if you know what I mean.

I'll be here when you're ready to come back. And it's not a promise. It's just a fact.

Favorite part. ♥

Wow, I love the way you've written Jack in this.
And that last line, about missing her when it rains is so totally gorgeous.

Thank you so, so much for this and I am dreadfully sorry it took me this long to get around to commenting. There is so much about this that I love.

I love this line in particular:
The jungle doesn't know what we are, he whispers,

Just lovely. And those last lines. Perfect. Just, utter perfection.

I am so glad you decided to write this pairing!
