Just found a 1941 Singer 221-1 in mint condition at a garage sale. If you knew how much I paid, you'd die.

It's all I seem to do. I finally worked out the schedule where I can actually have one whole day off a week and half of another. Result! Not much news anywhere else. It seems to be getting easier managing though...Whew.

I'm feeling really depressed, hating my job. I just wish I could find something in my field or at least in an office. I feel worthless and undervalued at the same time.

On my birthday, I adopted Velvet, a six year old Tortoiseshell cat from the SPCA. She's a sweet baby that needed a family just like we needed a little girl. She's settling in well.

As some of you have already heard, Chartruese died early this morning. They believe it was another embolism and she went very gently. We picked her up this morning and drove her over to the crematory where they will give her an individual cremation so that we can receive her ashes. We should get her back next week. I am almost finished with this semester of college. It ends on the 15th of December. I am really frustrated with my government classes though. Either the teacher is always late with putting up quizzes, or he simply just forgets his students in the cable section.
