So. Over at azalee_calypso's journal there was this meme. I forgot I asked for a drabble, but I totally did (and it was ~*wonderful*~ because there is not enough Shiki/Neku) and anyway, the rules are that the first ten to comment get a free drabble. The price~? You're supposed to do the meme back. And, I'm not going to like, hunt you down to get my drabble's

Normally, I insist on doing these in the order the drabble was requested, but I FINALLY got an idea for this, and sirona's request is making my brain melt.

"Naruto?" Sakura looks skyward for a moment. "Ichiraku's, probably."

Sasuke nods. Nothing ever changes around here.

At Ichiraku's, Sasuke finds Kiba practically sitting in Naruto's lap, nibbling at Naruto's lower lip. They separate after a moment, because Naruto finally notices Sasuke. "See you, man," Kiba says, making a hasty retreat.

Under Naruto's outstretched arms, Hinata and Tenten wave at Kiba.

Sasuke resists the urge to grind his teeth. "What happened to Ino, Karin, and Sai?" he snaps.

Naruto raises an eyebrow. "Today is Thursday," Naruto points out reasonably. Sasuke is not appeased. "Wednesday is for Ino and Karin. Sai comes and goes. Thursday is for Hinata and Kiba, and sometimes Tenten, if she's feeling good." Naruto reaches down a hand to squeeze Tenten's breast for emphasis. Tenten makes a soft sound, pressing closer to Naruto

Ahah, I love how completely misleading and normal the first section is, and I love Kiba's hasty retreat because if I was macking with Naruto and Sasuke stood up I'd probs do the same thing. And in Ichirakus. It's almost sacrilege, and almost definitely where Naruto would do it.

sasuke should be a bit more flexible though. Saturday is a perfectly good day.

He could probably even petition for Sundays to himself, as well. Naruto's a reasonable guy. I don't know what Sasuke's issue is. :/

(I actually forgot about it for a bit, and then I woke up with guilt gnawing at my conscience for not writing it yet, AND THEN I WAS HIT WITH INSPIRATION.)

I'm agreeing with syrraki: I like how this started out oh-so-innocently and then it's like finds Kiba… Naruto's lap… nibbling at Naruto's lower lip. They separate-HEY WAIT WHAT. And then Naruto trying to defend his actions by reminding Sasuke he has all of Saturday to himself. Good on you for making pimp!Naruto somehow work! /is in awe, will not even attempt

One of the reasons I think you'll do fine at longfic is because I can see you know the basic structure of a story even in your drabbles-especially the unexpected twist at the end, which is what I like in stories. Even though you worry, I know you can do it because I've got the evidence here.

XD See, all of that makes me sound really cool and clever, when I'm pretty sure that it's mostly just run-off from whatever crackish dream I had last night. (I am rather disappointed that whatever inspired this has since left my conscious memories. :/ I wrote this first thing this morning afternoon. My first thoughts upon waking were literally the mental image of Naruto with Hinata under one arm and Kiba under the other and making out with Kiba, witht he narrative playing through my head.)

I must admit, that was... mildly disturbing. I dunno what I found disturbing in less than 200 words, but there it is. I guess - sweet!innocent!Naruto being turned into a pimp is just... um.

Well done for managing to freak me out! I think the only thing that might freak me out worse is Jiraiya/Naruto. Or Orochifag. He's always disturbing.

So I'm giving you trouble, am I? D'you know, I can't even remember what I requested! /goes to look

Ah, I remember now! But I still stand by it. YOU CAN MAKE IT SO CRACKY OR SO SWEET THAN I WANT TO SEE IT DONE EITHER WAY!

XD This was immense fun to write once I got it rolling, but GAWD it took forever to get started.
