I forgot I asked for a drabble, but I totally did (and it was ~*wonderful*~ because there is not enough Shiki/Neku) and anyway, the rules are that the first ten to comment get a free drabble. The price~? You're supposed to do the meme back. And, I'm not going to like, hunt you down to get my drabble's

TWEWY. Shiki/Neku. A point where they both like each other very much, but aren't really sure how to get the ball rolling. Scheduled meeting between the six friends at Shiki's house while her parents aren't home... but it turns out that nobody else can make it.

Oh, Christ, this isn't much of a drabble-type prompt is it. Let me try again...

Naruto. Sakura/Ino/Hina. Sandbox.

Totally late because I want to get these done in order and Sakura/Ino/Hinata is harder than it sounds. Rather than, y'know, get original and creative with the prompt "sandbox," I am taking it literally. As in, something sand-related. (Although I kind of want to do the Shiki/Neku like burning, it is difficult to fit that into 100 words, and if I did, I fear it would not satisfy me.) This was way harder than it looks. XD

...On the other hand, there is not enough Sasuke/time-skip. (Or Naruto/time-skip, for that matter.)

The first year of traveling from base to base with Orochimaru, Sasuke wonders if Naruto can find him. There are no reports of other bases being attacked by a loud blond wearing bright fucking orange, but he knows that Naruto can do stealth when he really needs to. Sasuke doesn't stop to call himself important enough to warrant that kind of dedication from his frie--former friend, it just happens. Sasuke is a teammate and Naruto will try to rescue him. That is all

Satoshi makes reservations at the kind of place Daisuke's mother sends him to for heists. There is, in fact, a valuable centerpiece on the central table that he recalls his mother mentioning.

Daisuke pretends he doesn't see the notice carefully attached. He reflects that denial works better when there is not a genuine second voice in his head reminding him about the heist his mother never mentioned in the first place.

"S-so," Daisuke says when they sit down.

"The notice," Satoshi agrees.

"I can skip it if you want," Daisuke offers. Dark flails in his head. He can hear his mother lecturing him already on being the first in centuries of Niwa to break Dark's perfect record. And for a Hikari, no less

cause i mean. i seriously didnt actually expect you to do saturos/alex. BUT IT WOULD BE MORE THAN AMAZING. *_*

As for the drabble - omg the beginning paragraph with Daisuke's kleptomania matter-of-factly showing through just... made me laugh.
And then I laughed more. Definitely cute and fluffy and DEFINITELY DNAngel-like (of COURSE Emiko wouldn't let something like a date justify not stealing something !)
Satoshi's deadpan-ness is cute too though <3 Thanks a lot ! x3

Well, I had this idea the other day, and the reason I haven't written it is because I didn't have a ship to attach it to, but if I take your Saturos/Alex and run with it, I have somewhere to take this!

I figure Emiko probably waited for the date to get that thing. Daisuke was probably wondering why she didn't protest him going with Satoshi this time. She is devious.

Sakura's pissed off that Naruto and Sasuke never act like the couple she wants to see them act like.

S-so, it's not six days' worth of work, but this was still immensely fun to write. (And if you don't like it, I can totally try again. I usually try again with drabbles anyway. See also: any request azalee has ever made. XD)

Sasuke and Naruto pay for their ramen separately. Beside them, Sakura appears to have some kind of fit.

"THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. HE WENT TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH FOR YOU, AND YOU CAN'T EVEN PAY FOR HIS MEAL?" she demands.

Sasuke shrugs. "He has money."

Naruto opens his mouth to say something, but Sakura cuts him off. "IT'S NOT THE MONEY." She takes a deep breath, but her volume only decreases by a small amount. "You don't hold hands when you walk down the street. You don't go on romantic dates. You don't buy each other chocolates or flowers--"

"He doesn't like sweets," Naruto says as Sasuke replies, "Do I look like a girl to you?"

Sakura ignores them, "--I've never seen either of you publicly displaying your affection. IT'S LIKE YOU'RE NOT EVEN A REAL COUPLE

Just a first note before the review: like thank god we got to know each other before we knew about each other’s writing. I can feel more like a real friend than someone who’s latched onto you for your writing skills-because they’re so good and I don’t have to feel like you’re just another Writer to me and I’m just another Fan to you.

I think this is the fourth time I’m reading it before even thinking of trying to formulate a review. This was exactly what I had hoped to receive when I made the request. Sakura caring too much, trying to fix what’s not broken and Sasuke and Naruto bringing their usual ‘derr, if we’ve never done that stuff before why would we start now?’ logic into it.

Oh, I adore how you end scenes. You do it every time and it just kills me with envy. This drabbled was perfect so don’t you even think about writing another. Thank you so, so much ♥

I love the idea of having a friend who also happens to be in the same fandom, too~! It's nice having someone I've talked to comment things, rather than just random strangers. Not that there's anythign wrong with strangers commenting either, just. It's not the same. D: (You know, if you keep saying things like that about my writing, my ego is going to, like, EXPLODE. It will be visible all over the world. Even where you live.)

Sasuke/Naruto logic makes COMPLETE SENSE, y'know, if you're inhumanly strong and just as likely to punch your Significant Other in the face as kiss him. >.> Sakura's a bit harder to write sometimes because she's not BATSHIT FUCKING INSANE.

:D That makes me very happy inside. (I have this mental image of Sakura trying not to fall over, foaming at the mouth, while Inner!Sakura screams "FUCK YEAH!" and passes out from a massive nosebleed.)

I AGREE. There needs to be a whole... place where all the fic-writers can come together for timeskip fic! (Actually, just for people to list links to timeskip fic would be fine. I've only ever seen a bit, myself.)
