Recipe: Pan Fried Skirt (or Flank) Steak
Source: Cook's Illustrated
Serves: 4-6
Cook's Notes: This was very easy and didn't take too long to cook and it even tasted yummy on the first try:)

This sounds really yummy! I think I'll have to try it sometime, and make SO eat his chicken alone. :-)

Oh do! I was going to say something about how even the toddler liked it, but a more acclamatory(did I just make that word up?) statement would be that even dh thought it was ok:)

Exactly! When we put together our family cookbook that was the criteria -- if I hadn't made it and liked it a lot it didn't go in. I wanted my kids to have a bunch of proven family recipes to work with when they started cooking. And here on Live Journal we can draw from lots of family favorites! It's been a lot of fun seeing what everyone posts. I really need to get my act together and post more regularly -- I still have a lot of great recipes to share. :)
