[In the young boy's sleep, Seto tosses and turns, pressing a button on the journal so the voice turns on.  His choked sobs can be heard along with the soft rustling of blankets.  Then all goes silent...

Giles! [He almost sounds like he's going to cry now]

[He's not. He's far from okay - he's sitting in the clinic keeping vigil over his friend, his two best friends are both lost to him, and he hasn't slept properly in too many days to count.

[He holds back a sob and exhales deeply to calm down, at least a little. If he had known what Giles had been through--and is going through, his reaction would be much different. But since that isn't the case, he's incredibly glad to hear from him. He was worried that...]

[oaiwerjwa if Seto could hug you right now he so would. He's been through things like that plenty of times so he understands what this guy is going through....

There's a short silence as he bites his lip. His voice softens so it's no longer trembling] I...I'm so sorry...

I know how you feel...It's a horrible feeling, knowing that you should have--could have done something...but always remember, your friend will always be with you.

[Crow's still worried about Seto after hearing that scream last night. As far as he knows, people don't scream like that for no good reason. And now today, Seto's been acting... off.

Crow just sits there on another chair, observing him. It killed him to stay stationary for so long, but he couldn't bear to leave Seto like this. After he hears him speak into the journal, the pieces start to come together.]

...hey, Seto. You okay?

[Oh wow, when did you get there Crow? Seto hadn't even noticed you come in...which is pretty unlike him. He gives his best friend a weak smile in some sort of attempt to reassure him]

Yeah...I'm fine.

[Even with all the dangly shiny things hanging off of his outfit (even the teapot), he is still surprisingly absurdly quiet when he moves. Ninja-pirate-robots are good at that sort of thing, apparently.]
