Exactly last month [to the day] I had made this post Panoramic image required. After receiving "entries" from Yathin and Kalyan I selected Kalyan's image for the security/reception room. Initially I wanted the entire wall measuring 22x9 to be covered by the image. But after seeing the image resolution our graphic guy said it would lose clarity. So ( Read more... )

Okay but nothing great about the image I think.Dont mind my being frank, but this looks ordinary and pretty dark for a panaromic rendering on the said wall. Would have preferred that kaziranga pic of kalyan rather if given a choice. http://kalyanvarma.net/photo?id=1132

The Kaziranga pic is also in the short list. This one was selected since I liked it the very first time he posted on his LJ. It had that whole light from heaven feeling;-)

I like the Nilgiris much much better, it my desktop wall paper for quite sometime.
Prem one question - is that a flex printing , if yes - doesn't it look grainy when watched from a close distance ?

Yeah this is flex printing. Which is why the graphic guy said a large poster ie 20x8 would look grainy and decided to go for this size. Here up close it still looks very fine and not grainy.
