39 weeks 3 days here.

Who else here is dealing with PUPPP? I can't believe there isn't a tag for it here.At my last week's appointment my doctor said it looked as if I have PUPPP. Im currently 33 weeks, 3 days and about 5 days ago I started getting a super itchy belly.. I heard that itchy bellys are common in pregnancy ( this is my 1st) so I was moisturizing like crazy but the itch was freaking horrible and nothing would help.. it got twice as bad with each day and ( Read more... )

After much research, etc., I seriously think I'm coming down with PUPPP (the rash has now spread to my upper thighs...wonderful), but I'll find out for sure tomorrow. For those of you who have experienced it, etc., did you use anything to control the itch? I'm currently applying vaseline, and it seems to be helping (a little), but if there's ( Read more... )

The other night we were walking about at Walgreens with my BIL getting Percocet for my SIL who has a clogged milk duct...Well as we were leaving my husband was holding my hand and I'm just in complete awe of the medications and lotions and salves...(I have PUPPPs, but I will get into that later.) An update about my post from yesterday. Went to see my doctor today and I have PUPPPs. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this in their current or past pregnancies? How did you deal with the itching? My doctor told me to just rub cortizone lotion on it right now and take Benedryl and if that doesn't work she wants to give me a steroid cream... ( Read more... )
