This is my third pregnancy. The last one ended in a miscarriage so I'm a bit nervous yet trying to stay positive. I'm about 5 weeks. I'm not sure when I'll be able to confirm since I'm not sure when I'll get to see a doctor. I'm in the military. Since my last baby, I'm at a new place and they seem to do things differently here. I have to go to some ( Read more... )

Congrats! Best of luck! My son turned two when I was 6 months pregnant with his sister. Pregnancy + toddlerhood is quite a ride. My best advice is to rest when you can!

My daughter will be three the same month this one is born. First trimester with a toddler was quite the ride -- allow yourself to be as awful a parent as you need to be to make it through the rough days! Second trimester energy has been picking up the slack of what I couldn't do through the sickness. I would have liked them closer together, but I LOVE that my daughter is old enough to be so excited about the baby, and she understands everything pretty well, even if she doesn't really understand that the baby isn't just going to be cute and fun. ;-)

This made me laugh. I was just thinking today I'm a bad parent because I didn't play with him in play room today since I had the day off. I just laid around and rested. Stupid headache is hanging on.

Same here but life got in the way of that. I think it'll be fine though since he's more independent. That takes some pressure off.

My daughter watched SO much TV while I was feeling awful. I was afraid it would be tough to break the habit again when I was feeling better, but it really hasn't been. She's survived just fine. ;-)

congratulations and best of luck with this one :)

My son is turning three 11 days before this one is due, so December is going to be an extremely expensive month for me starting this year -_- (Well, even more expensive than it has been for the last few years lol)

Thanks.

Before Ace was born I made a vow to stick to budget for his birthday and Christmas. We did good last year. We'll see how it goes in the future.
