Here's my birth story - he came at 41+6! We planned for a completely natural birth but he had other ideas. We're still completely grateful for the outcome! Thank you for all your support throughout my pregnancy

you are amazing and this birth story was pretty intense. i'm really glad everything worked out OK for you.
i just really wanted to tell you, for future reference (since it seems you are still having tests done, maybe?) that your milk wasn't likely radioactive and that in the future if you need tests done like that, you may not even need to stop breastfeeding at all: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/radioisotopes.html - but you did awesome by working through that and i think you are really impressive with everything you've been through. i hope you get some answers.
I did find this link while I was in the hospital. The thing is that the point was moot after I had the v/q lung scan because I was injected with radioactive markers - which takes 2 days to get out of your system.
My La Leche League leader suggested an awesome site for reference http://www.infantrisk.com/ and I also called the call center to ask about the v/q scan. They confirmed what my doctors said at the hospital - even the not holding my baby for more than 5 mins for 24 hours after the scan. It all stretched to 5 days of nonbreastfeeding because the tests were done over a few days unfortunately instead just all in one day.
wow, congratulations! .. Sorry to hear things were and still are a bit rough but hopefully everything settles down soon and you can enjoy your new family; take care! :)
