Ultrasound dating a bit off?

I had an ultrasound done yesterday for dating purposes since I have no idea when my last cycle was. I know for sure the dates I had sex though. The ultrasound put me at 7w5d with a due date of April 13. By my calculations that take into consideration the days we had sex, my due date should be between April 3 and April 6. I just find it unlikely

My 13 week ultrasound said I was due 20th Januaury. That didn't match with my conception day. My baby was born February 13th. So yeaaaaaaah, I wouldn't take their dates too seriously. A later date is betty to avoid induction too!

My date was changed at us from the 24th august to the 4th sept- im glad now though i was mneh is this wronh? at the time... Just keep aware of your initial dates so if they are right you are prepared :)

It's comepletely possible to be a week or two off. Most books, u/s techs, and doctors will tell you that.

My US date was a week after my LMP date (which matched when we had sex), and the US date was wrong. Baby girl came in between the two with no vernix and dry, cracked skin... "obviously post-date" according to the midwives.
