Mid-cycle bleeding, ovulatory bleeding?

I bled like a period right around when I conceived. I don't know if I agree, but some of the women here think it was ovulation bleeding, so obviously it's possible.

(I conceived right around when I was supposed to be having a period, which is why I'm not so sure I agree.)

And it might be considered "light" since it's not coming out on its own? IDK, just a thought.

Yeah, that's spotting. Why couldn't it be implantation bleeding?

I know it may not seem it to you, but if it's not even making it to your undies, it's 'light'. I went to the ER for a flow heavier than my period and the doctor practically scoffed at me for calling that bleeding. :/

I had ovulation bleeding the cycle we conceived this baby. I've never had anything like it before - I had thought I was ovulating over a weekend away from the hubby, came home on Monday to have some bright blood on the toilet paper. I had a little bit more a couple hours later when I wiped inside. We took a chance that it could be ovulation a day or two late and sure enough we conceived that night. I'd give it the same shot if I were you. :)

Agree with lifethreads ^

I conceived on a 'spotting' between periods (same as you, no dripping of blood, just when I wiped), which I later learned was ovulation bleeding. I am now 33wks pregnant :)

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the comments. HOPEFULLY I am bleeding because we conceived. Blood was still there last night but barely there this morning. We haven't had sex both of the days that I was bleeding because I was thinking that my cervix was irritated. =/ BUT we did have sex the night before the bleeding started, and for sure we will tonight!
