After a very long break from LJ, I came back, and only for this community.

I am 12w5d today.

I have a couple of questions.

1. Is anyone uncontrollably crying all the time? Because I sure I am. I can spend the entire day doing well, but as soon as my head hits the pillow, my mind is racing and I'm crying myself to sleep, no matter how supportive and ( Read more... )

emotions, dreams

I have had nightmares every night for weeks. Yuck. Hope we both get over it soon.

I'm not crying all the time but there are definitely days where all the little stuff just gets overwhelming and suddenly I can't stop crying because the water I'm boiling boiled over. Very annoying! Yesterday I literally cried for HOURS because my hubby went on a fire call. Ugh.

Vivid dreams and nightmares are very common during pregnancy. No advice, but you're not alone!

commercials make me cry!!!
and a lot of the crying has to do with my weight gain.
I had weight loss surgery a year ago and went through HELL losing weight after being a big girl my entire life.
now I'm gaining gaining gaining and its really depressing. it makes me feel like I'm going to gain back the 100+ pounds I shed in the last year and never lose it again :(

Ugh, I can understand that. I don't have many problems normally (other than those few pounds everyone wants to lose) but I've gained a TON with both of my other pregnancies and I get scared everytime I think about gaining that weight again. I definitely envy those girls that just get the cute belly without all the neck rolls that seem to accompany them for me.

hmm. before pregnancy, I had one recurring nightmare about being chased by a blob in a glass house (?!?!) but not very often. now that I'm pregnant, the nightmares are much more common, but the blob hasn't ever shown up again.

Last week I was looking at our children and started bawling. I told my husband how much I loved them. I then started laughing as I was sobbing. Yeah, that was interesting! hahaha!

I am 16w2d and I find myself even more emotional than I was earlier on! I don't cry all the time, but it can come out of nowhere, with just a single thought. I never really cried much before my pregnancy. I don't worry about it much, I know I have a lot going on in my body, so I just embrace it :)

As far as the nightmares, they have gotten sooo much better. I was having several a night between 8w and 14w. It really helped not to watch/read anything remotely intense in the hours before bed. I found that when I did, I always had nightmares. ANd sometimes I did anyways. I found that watching/reading something light and/or comical helped w/ the nightmares. Hope they get better!!!
