But both of those links say that in the case of a type 1 mom, the baby MAY need additional support - as it sounds like this baby is needing.
OP - congratulations! He's absolutely beautiful! Keep working on the breastfeeding and don't forget there's lots of support out there - on LJ and in real-life - to help you if you need!
