Growing pains

Are any of you ladies having cramps? I have been, on and off, every day for the last couple of weeks or so. They are very mild, like twinges or pulling feelings, and mostly along the sides of my lower abdomen, near the crease of my legs. Is this normal? I've asked my doctor and just gotten the standard, "If it's more painful than your worst ( Read more... )

It's never too early for RLP. In fact, this is my second pregnancy - but that was a pregnancy symptom for me!

Oh, that's so good to know! That stupid What to Expect book seems to think that you can only get RLP in the second trimester, but I am starting to get that maybe I should take what it says with a grain of salt.

I think you can probably take most of what that book says with a grain of salt. It kind of assumes that all pregnancies are basically the same and that certain things always happen in certain weeks.

Then again, that's what I remember from 30 weeks ago. I read it in a weekend right when I found out I was pregnant and have found pretty much every other book I've read since then and this community to be far more helpful.

Yeah, we won't go into the time when I stopped being nauseated at 8 weeks and freaked out because WTEWYE said it was too early...

I had RLP before 11 weeks. :) Pulling at the creases sounds normal for RLP so that's probably what it is!!

Yeah, I've had the strained thing, too. I thought it was bathroom related. But it won't go away. :-/

I started to get the cramping at around 10-11 weeks, all I have to say is OW! I'm 16w 1d. For me it feels like I am having my period, it hurts really bad, worse than my last 2 pregnancy's where I barely felt it at all.. I read that you feel things sooner and stronger with every pregnancy.

I don't know about your 2 subchorionic hematomas or if they have anything to do with the pains but its worth bringing up to your doctor.
