I looked up some stats. Based on my Bishop score (& internet research), the probability of me having an emergency c-section if I go through with this induction is 45%
If you don't feel your body is ready, then cancel the induction. My son was born at 37w3d via emergency c-section due to a cord compression. If he wasn't in distress, then I would have waited until I felt my body was ready to have him. While he needed to be born, there was no choice about it, my body just wasn't ready. My milk never came in either, I tried breastfeeding and pumping for 3 weeks and NOTHING came out. I honestly feel if my body had been ready, then things would have been different.
I know easier said than done but please just try to relax.
If you do not want the induction, come the day of, just don't show up. As long as the baby and you are fine and it seems like you are well monitored let nature take its course.
Do your seizures present a danger to the fetus? I think that's the only reason I would go ahead with the induction, if I were in your shoes. Otherwise, you can request stress tests to keep an eye on the baby and maybe an ultrasound to keep an eye on fluid levels. Then maybe you and your doctor can reevaluate your Bishop score at 42 weeks and go from there

If you aren't ready for the induction, you aren't ready. I'm talking mentally ready here. If you aren't ready, you don't have to agree to it. Only you know enough about the seizures to know if something could be unsafe -- for you or the babe

Go with your gut and know that you are lucky as your husband supports you. 1. as long as the fluid levels and placenta are fine there is no worry 2.n/a IMHO 3. this is something that you are going to have to decide for yourself. honestly out of all the reasons this is the one that I personally would consider the most, the other 2 are just b/s

They cannot force you to have an induction or give birth when THEY want you to.
