My first two pregnancies ended in missed miscarriages and had brown spotting but no red blood or cramping until 12 weeks (with the first). It could be a miscarriage or it could not. This early on, there really is no way to tell. If you have a tilted uterus, that may make seeing anything quite a bit harder.

The only thing to do now is to wait and take it easy with yourself. Some women will miscarry with those symptoms while others will not. There is nothing your doctor or you can do but wait and see if the pregnancy is viable.

I hope everything is okay though. *hugs*

twice during my 1st trimester I had bright red, heavy bleeding. Everything turned out alright and the baby is doing fine. I'm 13w3d now. :)

good luck!

I had a *ton* of brown discharge in the first few weeks. It was extremely heavy and would just gush out when I stood up. I'm 11w now and fine! :)

Good luck!

I was told not to be too concerned unless the blood is bright red. Good luck and keep us posted!

i had the trans-vaginal ultrasound early and i also had spotting and when they did the ultrasound they told me there were no signs that the pregnancy progressed, quite depressing stressed me out. needless to say it is now 5 weeks until i am due,my conclusion is those Early ultrasounds can be really hit and miss just because it is so early:)

i hope this helps.
