what to expect?

I just have a quick question... I'm hopefully 1-2 weeks pregnant, but after TTC all year, I'm afraid to get my hopes up. I posted last month about how I was put on some progesterone and fertility meds, and some concerns I had with my husband's work schedule ( Read more... )

ttc, pregnancy symptoms, progesterone

Unfortunately because you are on progesterone you cant really know for sure without a test about 14DPO.
I'm taking progesterone starting 3DPO for a luteal phase defect and my RE told me the side effects are all pregnancy symptoms.

I didn't have any real symptoms until exactly 6 weeks, then I got nausea, and sore boobs. I'm 13 weeks and still have the same symptoms.

I had no symptoms until I was about 5 weeks pregnant. Once I had missed a period was when I started to develop a lot of symptoms. Morning sickness typically doesn't occur until between 6-8 weeks. You might be experiencing breast tenderness and being sleepy a lot. Those are two of the super early symptoms a lot of women experience. My breasts also went up almost a cup size once I had missed my period.

I would never say nipple plan is a 'sure fire' way of telling if you're pregnant considering its a symptom of PMS too. My breast pain was no different than it would be before I got my period, it was a little more exaggerated but it wasn't enough to *know* I was pregnant.

oh man, i've been ridiculously sleepy :/ although, i have a really messed up sleep schedule and tend to sometimes spend 3 days or so constantly sleeping. so it could just be some of that, who knows...

my breasts do seem bigger, i noticed that this morning. buuuut it could just be coincidence, and maybe my mind is making it into more.

thank you!

You very well could be pregnant but what I tended to do when I really wanted to get pregnant was right before my period I'd have all these symptoms that were pregnancy related and I was totally convinced I HAD to be pregnant and turned out I wasn't. The one time I thought there was no chance I could be pregnant...turns out I was! Just had my daugther 3 days ago!

Hopefully these are all pregnant symptoms, I'll send some baby dust your way. Good luck sweetheart!

hehe that figures! i guess i'll know in a couple of weeks. although, what worries me is whether or not i'll even have a period. i've been having so many troubles with my body all year that it almost seems like a baby is too much to ask for :P

thank you very much! :) and congrats on your daughter!! did you post pics? :3
